James Hurley reports:

A Swiss insurance giant has admitted hiring private investigators to snoop on the personal affairs of the clients of one of its British subsidiaries.

Dunbar Bank, Zurich’s specialist property lender, arranged for investigations and even surveillance of small business owners when it decided to wind down its loan book.
