The police haven’t been able to conduct any wiretaps in their investigations for the last three months, as Turkish courts have been refusing every police request for authorization to wiretap suspects since Dec. 17 of last year, when a major corruption and bribery investigation that implicated the sons of ministers as well as prominent bureaucrats and businessmen became public.
