As President Obama flew to Phoenix for a housing speech, some top White House aides spoke with guests about another pressing issue: Privacy.

Amid concerns about National Security Agency programs and other uses of technology, White House chief of staff Denis McDonough and other officials met Tuesday with more than a dozen privacy advocates.
