Reuters reports that the Prime Minister of New Zealand publicly apologized to Kim Dotcom for his unlawful wiretapping by NZ’s spy agency in the MegaUpload case.

An official report [here] showed confirmed the breach of privacy rules on Thursday, prompting the apology from John Key and dealing a possible blow to a US bid to extradite Mr Dotcom..
