Gary Stern reports:

The state Education Department is postponing the release of identifiable student data to inBloom until April at the earliest because of delays in piecing together its new portal system, a spokesman confirmed Thursday.

The delay creates a potential window for legislators to alter the plans, which have been widely criticized by educators and parents concerned about a potential loss of student privacy.
