A Connecticut man who claims he was shot in the face by former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez has sued CNN for airing images of him while he was recovering in a Florida hospital.

Alexander Bradley, who filed the lawsuit Tuesday in federal court in Connecticut, is seeking to recover damages after the images were shown in the documentary “CNN Special Report: Downward Spiral Inside the Case Against Aaron Hernandez” which aired last spring, court records show.

In two segments, Bradley was seen in photos lying “unconscious, bloodied, bandaged and intubated” in St. Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, Fla., the lawsuit said.
