Josh Lowensohn has an article on cnet on the value of geotagging photos and some options for doing so. I wondered whether he’d address any of the privacy concerns of geotagging photos. For a moment, I got my hopes up when I scrolled down and saw a subsection of his article, “The downsides and fine print,” but no, that had to do with cost and draining devices.

We’ve got a long way to go to get more people to routinely think about — and mention — privacy issues.
