A former local hospital employee accused of taking photos and videos of nude patients was charged with two counts of invasive video recording, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

Johnny Basye, 41, a former Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center employee, was arrested Monday without incident at his China Spring home.

Swanton said Waco police began investigating Dec. 21 when Basye’s estranged wife reported inappropriate images on Basye’s computer hard drive.
