There’s been a sharp increase in the number of Canadians who think it’s OK for the Canada Revenue Agency to share their tax information with other federal departments and provincial governments.

According to a major survey conducted for the CRA by Corporate Research Associates Inc., one in two Canadians think sharing tax information is a good idea. That jumps to two-thirds when the rationale for sharing tax information is explained.
