The Saskatchewan Party government said Tuesday it will consider the mandatory disclosure of privacy breaches by government agencies after some recent high-profile incidents.

The comments by Justice Minister Don Morgan came after the Opposition NDP called on the government to introduce a system to make such violations public.

Provincial privacy commissioner Gary Dickson has also backed the idea, which was suggested in a recent editorial in The StarPhoenix.
