When you visit Chronicles of Dissent (“the blog”), your IP address is logged, as is information as to what pages or posts you visited. Server logs are used to protect the security of the site and to help improve the site. The logs are deleted every few weeks.

If you attack the site with a DDoS attack or attempt to hijack it, infect it, or deface it, don’t expect any privacy. Spammers and spambots do not count as people and have no rights whatsoever on this site.

New posts are usually open for comments. Comments containing spam or threats of violence are not acceptable use of the site. Please post responsibly. I will do what I can to protect your privacy, but I am subject to the laws of my state, the laws of the United States, and the laws of the two dogs that run this house.

If you send any legal, quasi-legal, or just downright nutty threats via email, do not expect any privacy of your email. Please note that I do not scare easily. I have kids, and there’s nothing you can threaten me with that will even come remotely close to scaring me as much as the day they both got their driver’s licenses.

Neither I nor this blog, nor are liable for the content of any comments posted by third parties. Nor is this blog responsible for the privacy policies of any sites it may link to. I encourage you to read their privacy policies.
