They haven’t read it already?

Legislation proposed in the House of Representatives yesterday, which was Constitution Day:

By Mr. CONAWAY (for himself, Mr. GARRETT of New Jersey, Mr. AKIN, Mr. ENGLISH of Pennsylvania, Mr. BISHOP of Utah, Mr. BOOZMAN, and Mr. PEARCE):

H.R. 3550. A bill to require every Senator and Representative in, and Delegate and Resident Commissioner to, the Congress to obtain copies of the Constitution of the United States of America and distribute them to their staff and require that they all read such document.

Maybe next year Mr. Conaway will introduce a bill to require the folks in the West Wing and Department of Justice to read it, too.

    That was my first thought, too. Now I’m wondering how many staffers have never even read it.
