Pointer: Is e-mailing commenters an invasion of privacy?
This blog has received a number of emails from people who had bad experiences when they submitted comments elsewhere on the Internet and found themselves receiving unsolicited, unwelcome, and often downright nasty e-mails from the blogger or web site owner.
I’ve posted a query to readers about the issue of e-mailing comment submitters over on the main web site, here, and would welcome any thoughts or opinions if you would like to post your thoughts there.
